 Alma

Commissioned by Barbora KoláÅ™ová, Alma tells the story of Alma Rosé (1906-1944), a famous violinist who later became a prisoner in Auschwitz during the Holocaust. The electronics are sampled from Rosé's only existing recording in which she is performing a Bach Concerto.
